Debt Situation

Here is a summary of Manhattan's debts taken from the May 15th 2025 City Bond issuance document with $314,729,989 in obligations outstanding.  2024 Census Estimates Population of 53,682 and that brings us to $5,337 in city debt per person (per capita).  State of Kansas caps our general obligation debt at 30% of assessed value.
